Dr. Zoya Voitenko, ND, BCN, Naturopathic Doctor in Mississauga

Naturopathic Doctor Zoya Voitenko, ND, BCN (Board Certification in Neurofeedback), the primary naturopathic physician at Stop the Clock Naturopathic Clinic in Mississauga, serving Mississauga, Oakville, Etobicoke and West Toronto, is a graduate of the accredited four-year full-time postgraduate program in the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), Toronto, Ontario. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, International Society of Orthomolecular Medicine and American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. In her private practice, she follows the principles of functional medicine.

Further to the four-year professional program in naturopathic medicine, Dr. Zoya Voitenko received additional training in:

  • Clinical nutrition: including dietary approach and orthomolecular training in immune disorders with a focus on oncology, i.e. alternative cancer treatment, cancer support treatment and prevention, auto-immune diseases and inflammation, gastro-intestinal disorders, endocrine and obesity-related disorders, women’s and men’s health, skin conditions, thyroid disorders, mood, cognitive and neurological disorders, including depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, ADHD and autism, from Canadian, US and UK researchers and practitioners.
  • Parenteral therapy: Dr. Voitenko is licensed to practice IV protocols of vitamins, minerals and herbs for the naturopathic detoxification and the treatment of various conditions.
  • Botanical medicine: Dr. Voitenko received additional training from herbalist John Redden.
  • Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine: Dr. Voitenko attended training courses by Dr. Giovanni Maciocia, the renowned Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the author of many books on Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is also trained in and practices Cosmetic Acupuncture.
  • Homeopathy: Dr. Voitenko studied the treatment of acute and chronic disease with Dr. G. Gueniot, MD, a French medical doctor who practices homeopathy. Dr. Voitenko has also received training from Indian, Austrian and American doctors who practice homeopathy. She attended courses by Judith and Robert Ullman, authors of “Ritalin Free Kids”, "Prozac Free" and others.
  • Alternative Allergy treatment: Dr. Voitenko received extensive training with Advanced Allergy Therapeutics (AAT). Advanced Allergy Therapeutics is a combination of advanced digital technology and Traditional Chinese medicine. Advanced Allergy Therapeutics addresses (determines and treats) various allergies and sensitivities that are involved in digestive disorders, respiratory conditions, skin conditions etc.
  • Physical Therapy: Dr. Voitenko received advanced training with Dr. Carol McMakin, the founder of the Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) Technology. FSM is an advanced alternative TENS class technology that effectively addresses many conditions that are characterized by pain, inflammation and organ dysfunction.
  • Light and Sound Therapy: Dr. Voitenko received neurofeedback training from Dr. Jonathon Walker, MD, Denise Hetrick, MA, Dr. Linda Thompson, PhD.

To assist in proper diagnosis and treatment every patient undergoes a full physical examination. Conventional blood tests are required for complete assessment.
